When a Nation wants to honor individuals who have done service to their Nation or culture that is above and beyond the ordinary, they have several avenues open to them. One of the most practical is the commemorative stamp as it is quick, public and brings income back to the Nation
Their Majesty’s plan to issue the first commemorative stamp of the Kingdom of Hawai’i in over a hundred years. It will bear Her Excellency Ethel Abreu’s image.
