The Aboriginal Peoples of Hawaii are not
now, nor have they ever been "indigenous to the United States of
America". The
Akaka Bill (s.344) states that they are
and if this passes, and Hawaiians accept it, the chances of the
restoration of their lands and traditions becomes as clouded as that
of the aboriginal Peoples of North America.

their ommission have so declared they have NO jurisdiction over
Hawaii or it's people.
